Everything moves

When I chant OM, I’m reminded of movement, of change, of being part of something larger than myself.

Even when we seem still, there is movement. Place a hand on your chest: a heartbeat, the rise and fall of your breath. Thoughts come and go.

Impermanence. What does that word mean to you?

For me, it is a reminder that life keeps changing. Pain and discomfort, happiness and joy: none of them tells the whole story of our lives. Sometimes they even exist alongside one another.

Whatever you are experiencing right now, perhaps you can take a moment to acknowledge it. You don’t have to force it away or make yourself feel differently.

What might change if you gave yourself permission to meet this moment as it is?
